Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support the cooking team by handling basic cooking tasks under supervision and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for food orders and transactions accurately
- Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients with care to uphold hygiene standards
- Help with front-of-house duties such as serving guests, taking orders,



and providing friendly guest services when needed
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant work is highly desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning routines, and basic cooking techniques preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is advantageous
- Background in hospitality roles such as barista work or guest services can enhance your ability to connect with guests and support team efforts
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and delivering excellent customer service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is important for maintaining a safe kitchen environment
- Hotel or catering experience can be beneficial but is not required; willingness to learn on the job is most valued
