The RoleWe are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate fast-paced retail fit-out projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for aggressively managing 4 to 5 active projects simultaneously across Toronto, Mississauga, and the wider GTA.You must be a master of tight scheduling, multi-site logistics, and fast-track problem-solving. This role involves managing field teams, conducting hands-on site inspections, enforcing OBC compliance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and strictly within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Multi-Site Oversight & Inspections: Actively manage and visit 4 to 5 active job sites weekly across the GTA. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing safely, up to code, and matching BuildAngle’s high quality standards.
- OBC Compliance: Ensure all interior construction work strictly adheres to the Ontario Building Code (OBC), municipal bylaws, and landlord structural regulations.
- Reporting & Transparency: Maintain seamless communication by compiling and delivering structured daily progress reports to company ownership and clear weekly status updates to our customers.
- Budget Tracking: Control project costs, track actual versus estimated spend,



and aggressively manage change orders and progress billings.
- Material Procurement & Logistics: Strategically order, schedule, and arrange materials to arrive on site precisely when needed—ensuring zero site downtime due to missing supplies.
- Vendor & Client Liaison: Coordinate closely with external suppliers, subcontractors, landlord management, engineers, and customer-appointed vendors to streamline workflows.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated project/construction management experience, with a heavy emphasis on retail fit-outs, restaurant build-outs, or interior commercial tenant improvements in Ontario.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep, working understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC), landlord construction riders, and GTA mall regulations.
- Multitasking & Organization: Proven track record of successfully running multiple active jobs (4+) at the same time while handling daily and weekly reporting requirements seamlessly.
- Mobility: Valid Ontario G Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle to travel regularly between active jobs across the GTA.
