If so we may have the perfect role for you!!! Our prestigious client in Drummondville is looking for a Scale house attendant to join their growing team at a waste management facility.

This position serves as the first point of contact for customers entering the site and plays a key role in customer service, payment processing, administrative support, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and direct vehicle traffic entering the facility
- Answer customer questions and provide excellent customer service
- Accurately calculate and process customer payments
- Inspect incoming loads to ensure compliance with site regulations
- Monitor customer and employee adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Scale House




- Complete administrative duties including filing, reporting, and data entry
- Communicate any issues or concerns to management promptly
- Attend company training sessions and meetings as required
- Assist with additional customer service and clerical tasks as needed
- Work overtime when required
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and service-oriented attitude with customers, vendors, and coworkers

Qualifications Required

- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills

Working Conditions

- Office-based work within a Scale House setting
- Occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dirt, odors, noise, and industrial environments
- Occasional exposure to occupational hazards associated with waste management operations

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Long-term temporary with potential for permanent hir
