MKM Projects Ltd. is currently accepting resumes for an experienced Lead Carpenter for a large commercial construction project located in Bella Coola, BC. This job is expected to start mid October and is expected to run approximately 6-8 months.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Superintendent, taking direction on daily priorities and helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. We are looking for someone who is dependable, experienced, and comfortable taking a lead role while working under the direction of the Site Superintendent.

Responsibilities & Requirements





- Work closely with the Site Superintendent to understand daily activities, priorities, and project schedule
- Perform and lead commercial carpentry work as required
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Assist with coordinating daily work and keeping activities organized and on schedule
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Follow all MKM Projects safety policies and site requirements
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized construction site
- Communicate effectively with the Superintendent, trades, and other site personnel
- Identify field issues and bring them to the Superintendent’s attention
- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and solid organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
