We are hiring a Junior Health & Safety Coordinator for one of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related field who is looking to develop their career in occupational health and safety.

The successful candidate will assist with workplace inspections, safety documentation, incident investigations, and the development and implementation of secure work practices.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular in-house health and safety inspections
- Maintain health and safety documentation
- Track and document near misses, occurrences, and first aid incidents
- Assist with incident investigations
- Assist with developing safe work procedures
- Support the development of steel erection procedures
- Help enforce safe work practices in the field
- Assist with safety-related training and communication




- Work with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture
- Learn and support health and safety requirements related to structural steel erection

Requirements:

- Some experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related environment
- Interest in building a career in health and safety
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong willingness to learn
- Safety-related education or certification is an asset

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
