Operations Coordinator & Embroidery/Printing Specialist – Turkish & English

Job Summary

PrintBarn is looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Operations Coordinator & Embroidery/Printing Specialist to join our team full-time in North York.

This is a multi-responsibility role combining office administration, customer service, production coordination, team support, and hands-on embroidery/T-shirt printing.

We are not looking for someone who only operates a machine. We need someone who can understand an order from beginning to end, communicate with customers and team members, organize production, solve problems, and step into production when required.

Fluency in both Turkish and English is required for effective communication with our team and customers.

Responsibilities

- Communicate with customers by phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and customer orders
- Review order details carefully before sending jobs into production
- Coordinate daily workflow between office, design, embroidery, printing, and packaging
- Track deadlines and make sure urgent orders are prioritized properly
- Assign and follow up on production tasks
- Keep customer and order information organized and up to date
- Help resolve production issues, customer concerns, and order discrepancies
- Operate commercial embroidery machines when required
- Assist with embroidery setup, hooping, thread changes, backing, placement, and quality control
- Work with DTF / heat press / T-shirt printing equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Make sure logos, colours, sizes, placements, and quantities match the approved order
- Support packaging and order preparation when needed
- Monitor production progress and communicate delays or problems immediately
- Maintain an organized and professional working environment
- Help keep machines, workstations, and production areas clean and properly maintained




- Support and guide other team members during busy production periods
- Take ownership of daily operations rather than waiting to be told every small task

Required Skills & Experience

- Fluency in Turkish and English
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable managing several customer orders at the same time
- Able to take responsibility and make practical decisions
- Previous experience in embroidery, printing, apparel production, manufacturing, or a similar setting is strongly preferred
- Experience with commercial embroidery machines is a major asset
- Understanding of hooping, backing, thread tension, garment placement, and embroidery quality is preferred
- Experience with DTF printing, heat press, or custom apparel production is an asset
- Comfortable using computers, email, online order systems, and basic office software
- Able to identify mistakes before they become larger production problems
- Able to work independently while also coordinating with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

This position is best suited for someone who is naturally organized and responsible.

You should be comfortable switching between:

customer communication → order management → production coordination → embroidery/printing → quality control

throughout the day.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the operation and helps keep both the office and production floor running smoothly.
