Part-Time On-Camera Video Host / Presenter

We are looking for a confident and engaging on-camera presenter to become one of the faces of our YouTube channel and social media content.

Our team will provide prepared scripts featuring industry reviews, business insights, and related topics. Your responsibility will be to learn or review the material and present it naturally and professionally on camera.

You do not need to edit the videos. Our team will handle all editing, graphics, captions, formatting, and publishing. You only need to perform on camera and provide the raw recordings in MP4 format.

This is a flexible, part time position that can be performed remotely or from our recording space in downtown Edmonton.

Responsibilities

- Record approximately 10–12 videos per week.
- Produce approximately 10 minutes of usable on-camera content per video.
- Review the scripts provided by our team before recording.
- Present industry reviews and business-related information clearly and naturally.
- Deliver raw video recordings in MP4 format.
- Record additional short segments for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and other platforms when required.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and consistent on-camera presence.
- Re-record short sections when corrections are required.
- Participate in approximately one webinar per month.
- Eventually host or participate in interviews and podcasts with invited guests.

Our team is responsible for research, script preparation, video editing, graphics, captions, publishing, and channel management.

Requirements





- Excellent spoken English with clear, natural, native-level fluency.
- Confidence and a comfortable presence in front of the camera.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to follow a script while sounding conversational rather than simply reading.
- Ability to explain business topics in a friendly and easy-to-understand way.
- Professional and consistent appearance suitable for business-focused content.
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines.
- Reliability and willingness to accept feedback and record additional takes when necessary.

Previous experience in acting, hosting, broadcasting, public speaking, podcasting, webinars, or content creation is an asset but not required.

Remote Recording Requirements

If working remotely, you should have:

- A quiet and reliable place to record.
- A clean, professional-looking corner or room that can be developed into a simple recording studio.
- Good lighting or the ability to install basic recording lights.
- A suitable camera or modern smartphone capable of recording high-quality video.
- Clear audio, preferably using an external microphone.
- A stable internet connection for meetings and transferring video files.





We can provide guidance on creating a suitable home-recording setup.

Candidates located in Edmonton may also use our recording space downtown.

Schedule and Compensation

- Part-time position: approximately 10–20 hours per week.
- Flexible working hours.
- Fixed payment for each completed and approved video.
- Additional bonuses may be offered based on reliability, webinar and interview attendance, audience engagement, and video views.
- Some scheduled availability will be required for monthly webinars, interviews, and podcast recordings.

You may be a strong fit if you are energetic, personable, comfortable on camera, and interested in business, marketing, or digital media.

You do not need to be a technical expert or professional video editor. We provide the content and handle the entire editing process. Your role is to understand the script and deliver it in a confident, convincing, and engaging way.

Pay: $15.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
