Are you passionate about marketing and Public Relations? MMPR is looking for a Kelowna-based marketing coordinator to join our team. Working closely with our team across the country, this role is for an outgoing driven aspiring marketer looking for the opportunity to hone their skills in a rapid-paced environment.
The Role:
- Social media scheduling and reporting
- Community management
- Call agendas and status updates
- Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
- Administrative tasks (Project Management program set up, event invitations, email management, etc)
Required skills
- English language fluency: Written and spoken
- Copywriting skills: Hot on spelling, grammar and proofreading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy.
- Presentation skills: You need to organize information in a succinct and interesting way to capture their attention.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Whether it’s over the phone, by email or in person, PR is all about people, so you need to be approachable, friendly and empathetic,
and be able to relate to people on different levels within the agency, with clients and with the media.
- Time-keeping: You will often be working to tight media deadlines as well as meeting the demands and pressures of your team and clients, so you need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, without compromising on quality.
Qualifications:
- 0-1 year of marketing experience
- College or University degree in Marketing, Communications, PR (Or relevant experience)
- Proficient in GSuite & All social platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
