Job Summary
Northern Raised is a premium Ontario farm-to-home meat delivery brand. We ship hundreds of orders per week from our Mississauga facility to homes across Ontario, and we're growing. We're hiring a Warehouse Lead to work alongside our Warehouse Manager, own the floor when he's off, and keep our pick, pack, and inventory operations running cleanly.

This is a step above general warehouse work. You won't be running the company, but you will be trusted to run the warehouse on the days you're in charge.

Responsibilities

- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and on a schedule (we ship perishable, frozen product, so timing and accuracy matter)
- Manage inbound receiving from our farming partners and verify against POs
- Maintain inventory accuracy in Katana (our inventory system) and reconcile against Shopify orders
- Coordinate with our customer support team when issues come up on orders mid-fulfillment
- Cover the Warehouse Manager during his off days and vacation, running the day end-to-end
- Spot problems before they become customer complaints (a missing item, a mislabelled bundle, a cold chain risk) and fix them

What We Need From You

- Previous warehouse experience, ideally in food, e-commerce fulfillment, or 3PL




- Comfort with inventory management software (Katana, NetSuite, Cin7, Fishbowl, or similar). Direct Shopify experience is a strong asset
- A pace that matches the work. We ship a lot in compressed windows, and standing still isn't an option
- Strong written communication. You'll be in Slack with the office team daily, and we need updates that are clear and quick
- Genuine attention to detail. A wrong cut of meat in a $200 order is a refund and a lost customer
- Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably and work in cold environments (freezer and cooler access throughout the day)
- Reliable transportation to our Mississauga facility. Local candidates are strongly preferred

Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
