Required Qualifications:





Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to thrive in a quick-paced, high-acuity environment and work effectively with diverse healthcare professionals. N95 Fit testing capability. Advanced competency certification in: It's your move Procedural sedation. Ketamine infusions. Lidocaine infusions. Cardiac Monitoring and Arterial Line certifications. Current “It’s Your Move” certification. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care surgical nursing experience. Demonstrated commitment to collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with the following systems. Connect Care. NetCare. Workforce Management (WFM).
