Responsibilities The successful applicant can expect to provide lab and tutorial assistance across a broad range of the mechanical engineering discipline. The applicant must have a strong commitment to teaching and interacting with students, an ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and an interest in delivering quality curriculum.

The Assistant

Instructor may lead labs and tutorials in some of the following areas: Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals (statics, dynamics, strength of materials) Engineering Graphics and CAD Manual and CNC Machining Mechatronics (Automation, Robotics), Microcontrollers, Industrial Control, PLCs Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related credential.



Relevant industry experience in an engineering environment. Proficient in engineering computer applications including strong CAD skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English Language. Ability to work independently and in teams. Machine shop skills are an asset. Instructional experience is an asset. Salary Range Salary Range Salary Range: $72,334 - $98,815 per annum.
