Millcroft Inn & Spa is currently seeking 1 Banquet Server to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity that can provide flexibility, valuable work experience, and a chance to work with a tenured team.

Position Summary: To serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, following all service standards and contracted specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities:

Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity

Meeting established up-selling and sales goals

Must be available for Morning and Evening shifts on Weekdays and Weekends To set up function space as required in house and off-site following service guidelines

Serving at both in house and off-site functions

Disassemble at the end of each function and ensure that all equipment is returned to its proper place and polish all cutlery

Keeps supply areas clean and organized

Properly clean function rooms after groups leave and set for show

Wipe down table bases and chairs following each function

Reports to the Banquet Captain overseeing the function/event

Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties' products and services

Suggesting additional product and services meeting our Guests' specific preferences

Assessing Guests' individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services

Actively seeking ways to meet Guests' product or service needs





All other duties as assigned

Skilled Requirements

Experience in various types of service

Experience in creative buffet set-ups

Minimal beverage knowledge Personal Attributes:

Strong interpersonal skills

Capable of prioritizing work and handling a variety of tasks

Confidence in selling and up-selling products and services

Positive sales-oriented personality

Desire to meet goals

Ethical and honest

Physical Requirements

Some heavy lifting involved

Standing and walking throughout majority of the shift
