Role Description As a Beauty Specialist in our Calgary, AB store, you will provide personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations aligned with customers’ needs and preferences. You will support day-to-day operations of the cosmetics and skincare area, including merchandising, stocking shelves, setting up displays, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The role involves demonstrating products, assisting with shade matching, and informing customers about promotions, loyalty programs, and new product launches.

You will work collaboratively with store colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver consistent, high-quality service.



This is a part-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

- Customer service and client engagement skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and deliver personalized recommendations.
- Knowledge of cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, and beauty trends, including comfort discussing product ingredients, benefits, and usage.
- Sales and merchandising skills, such as promoting products, supporting visual displays, and contributing to achieving store sales goals.
- Communication and teamwork abilities, including clear verbal communication and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining product presentation, cleanliness, inventory rotation, and compliance with store standards.
- Basic cash-handling and point-of-sale familiarity, with the ability to learn store systems and follow operational procedures.
- Previous retail, beauty, or pharmacy experience is an asset; relevant certifications or training in cosmetology or aesthetics are considered beneficial.
- Availability to work a adaptable part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
