What You'll Do

Develop and optimize AI/ML algorithms for biological and multi-omics data

Analyze and interpret

NGS datasets , including alignment, variant calling, and annotation

Build predictive models for diagnostics, biomarker discovery, disease detection, and treatment response

Develop bioinformatics tools, pipelines, and computational workflows

Integrate diverse biological data sources and collaborate with multidisciplinary scientific teams

What You'll Bring PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or a related field

Strong expertise in

AI, machine learning, and statistical methods applied to biological data

Strong programming skills in

Python and/or R ,



with experience in

TensorFlow, PyTorch, or

Deep understanding of molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics

Experience with NGS alignment tools such as

Bowtie2, BWA-MEM, Minimap2, STAR, and

HISAT2

Experience with taxonomic profiling tools such as Kraken2

C++ or Rust experience for algorithm optimization is an asset

Strong publication record or demonstrated industry contributions in AI and computational biology
