Key responsibilities
As a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant, you will be an integral part of the firm’s day‑to‑day operations. Work closely with partners and staff to provide bookkeeping, administrative and office support across multiple service areas while representing the firm in a professionalmanner.
This role is well suited to a highly organized, proactive professional who demonstrates solid communication skills and exercises a high degree of discretion while actively contributing to a wide range of firmmatters.
Office and receptionsupport
Provide a welcoming front-office experience while greeting clients andguests
Answer and route incoming calls and email correspondence with professionalism and attention todeadlines
Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, file preparation and documentmanagement
Operate and maintain office equipment such as printers andscanners
Maintain and update iFirmsoftware
Financial and bookkeepingexperience
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable andpayroll
Prepare bank deposits and process credit and debittransactions
Issue monthly statements for overdueaccounts
Audit and taxadministration
Provide administrative support to partners and staff across audit and taxengagements
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels ofstaff
Arrange logistics for meetings, conferences andevents
Attend meetings and prepare minutes asneeded
Manage filing and documentation related to engagements andprojects
Prepare and edit presentations and professionalcorrespondence
Review and edit financial statements, proposals, contracts, letters andinvoices
Key requirements
We seek a dedicated professional with the followingqualifications:
University or college education in Business Administration (diploma orcertificate)
Multiple years of experience in administration, reception or officemanagement
Strong verbal and written English communication (French is anasset)
Excellent interpersonal skills and a consistently professionalapproach
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint andOutlook)
Intermediate to advanced computer and softwareskills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented and solutionfocused
Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency andimportance
Ability to work independently with minimalsupervision
Flexible and willing to work overtime whenrequired
Reliable, punctual and accountable in all aspects of therole
