Full-time, First-Level Management Position Primary Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Maintenance Team Supervisor is responsible for leading, supporting, and engaging maintenance technicians in the day-to-day execution of maintenance activities. The supervisor ensures that priorities, secure work practices, and quality standards are consistently followed to maximize the availability and reliability of production equipment. Key Responsibilities

Team Supervision

Assign tasks to technicians based on operational priorities. Ensure maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and safely. Provide first-level technical support and elevate complex issues to the Maintenance Coordinator. Coach, motivate, and support the professional development of technicians under their supervision. Welcome, onboard, and integrate new team members. Foster a collaborative and respectful work setting. Planning and Organization

Conduct daily team meetings to discuss occupational health and safety matters and assign the work to be completed. Participate in the planning and organization of corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure that all required tools, parts, and documentation are available before maintenance work begins. Adjust priorities in response to urgent production needs. Operational Follow-Up

Review and document completed maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Identify the causes of minor equipment failures and recommend immediate solutions. Identify and communicate training needs and opportunities for process improvement to the Maintenance Coordinator. Health, Safety and Compliance





Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements during all maintenance activities. Ensure proper application of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and food safety procedures. Report all incidents, accidents, and potential hazards and participate in internal investigations. Working Relationships

Parts suppliers and technical contractors. Required Skills

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose first-level technical issues. Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Ability to communicate effectively in English. Organizational Skills

Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance activities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in follow-up activities. Effective short-term planning and organizational skills. Interpersonal Skills

Hands-on leadership skills and the ability to effectively supervise and support a team. Clear and constructive communication skills. Ability to remain effective and make sound decisions in stressful and emergency situations. Education and Experience

DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) or DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance, including at least one (1) year in a team lead or similar supervisory role. Experience in the food and beverage industry, industrial environment, or automated manufacturing environment is considered an asset. Working Conditions

Schedule

Full-time day shift on a 5-5-4 schedule (84 hours over a two-week period). Salary:
