In a full time, in-office capacity, your leadership will be pivotal in developing accurate bid strategies and managing project risks. You will work closely with a team of estimators, architects, and senior leadership to ensure successful project delivery while fostering relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities: • Direct and manage the entire estimating process • Formulate bidding strategies based on competitive analysis • Lead complex estimate assessments and final bid reviews • Enhance subcontractor engagement and performance evaluation • Implement technology solutions for estimating improvement
Requirements: • 10+ years in estimating for heavy civil construction • In-depth understanding of underground infrastructure • Familiarity with Alberta’s construction landscape • Proficient in estimating software tools • Educational background in Civil Engineering or related fields
