Experienced Class 1 driver looking for more variety?

Bizi Transport is growing, and we're looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers who are ready to take on specialized transportation work throughout Western Canada and beyond.

We haul frac sand, sulphur, chemicals, cryogenics and other specialized commodities, with work taking our drivers across industrial sites, resource roads and remote locations.

Already have Super B, tanker, bulk or oilfield experience? We'd like to hear from you.

Have a strong Class 1 background but haven't worked in every area we do? We're willing to train experienced drivers who have the right foundation, attitude and safety mindset.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operating Class 1 tractor-trailer combinations, including Super Bs
- Hauling specialized commodities throughout Western Canada and beyond
- Driving resource roads, industrial sites and off-highway environments
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Loading, unloading and securing equipment as required




- Chaining and operating in challenging winter conditions
- Completing electronic documentation and communicating with dispatch
- Following customer, site and company safety requirements

What You Need
- Minimum 3 years of Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Reasonable and current 5-year driver's abstract
- Strong commercial and winter-driving skills
- Ability to safely chain, climb and work outdoors in changing conditions
- Comfortable working days, nights, weekends and rotational schedules
- Comfortable with live-in-truck work and extended periods away from home
- First Aid and H2S Alive, or ability to obtain required certifications
- Comfortable using smartphones, electronic logs and mobile applications
- Professional attitude, robust safety mindset and willingness to learn

Experience We'd Love to See Experience with any of the following is a strong asset:

- Super B / B-Train
- Tanker or pneumatic trailers
- Bulk hauling
- Frac sand or sulphur
- Chemicals, fuel or petroleum
- Cryogenics
- Oilfield transportation
- Flat deck or heavy haul
- Resource or logging roads
- Off-road and remote operations
- Mountain and winter driving
- Chaining
- Agriculture, farming or heavy equipment

You don't need experience in every area. If you're an experienced Class 1 driver with strong fundamentals, we'll consider what you already know and what we can teach you.

Most positions involve live-in-truck work, travel throughout Western Canada and beyond, and resets on the road. Drivers must be comfortable with remote work, changing schedules, night shifts and varying weather and road conditions.

Successful candidates must complete Bizi Transport's hiring process, including a road test and pre-employment testing.
