Our Property Management team is seeking a full-time Cleaner to join our operations team at our Crystal Beach Community in Ottawa's west end. This hands-on role is ideal for a dependable cleaning professional with a customer-first mindset who takes pride in creating and maintaining clean, protected and welcoming living environments for our residents.

Compensation $18 – $20 per hour.

Three weeks of paid vacation, starting on day 1 of employment. Participation in our annual bonus program.

Responsibilities In addition to the responsibilities typically expected of a cleaning professional, responsibilities will include: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.

Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.

Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.

Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.





Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.

Perform daily inspections of common areas and report any maintenance issues to the property operations team.

Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications Friendly, respectable, and community minded, with strong interpersonal skills.

Must have a valid, class G drivers license and access to a personal vehicle. Previous cleaning experience considered an asset, but is not required.

Comfortable working both independently and part of a team. Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.

Basic

English verbal communication skills are required. Ability to provide professional references and proven record of reliable work attendance.

Additional Information

Work will be completed on-site at our Crystal Beach community at 1 Ullsway Drive, Ottawa. All successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal record check (CRC) as a condition of employment.

Ability to respond to emergencies during regular operating hours. Participation in an after-hours rotational emergency response team may be required.
