Reporting to the Manager, the Dietitian - Degree provides medical nutrition therapy which includes screening, assessment, developing and implementing evidence-based care plans, counseling, direction on nutrition support, and other needed nutrition interventions for patients/ residents / clients. The Dietitian - Degree will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team to create a patient / resident / client and family centered setting conducive to the provision of quality care.

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr)) Completion of an approved Dietetic Practicum Program Competencies
Previous experience in a clinical nutrition setting is an asset Knowledge & Abilities
Effective interpersonal relationship skills Self motivated with the ability to work independently Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to concentrate within a dynamic work environment Demonstrates self-direction, decision making & attention to detail Highly developed written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of nutrition management of chronic and acute medical conditions Other Information
Valid Class 5 driver's license Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC) Registered/eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized
