EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT – MIDDLE SCHOOL
Abbotsford Christian School is accepting applications for a
MIDDLE SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT . This is a full-time fixed-term position and commences immediately. Compensation ranges from $27.76 to $34.72 per hour, based on qualifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
SETA Certificate, Education Assistant Certificate, or related training
Training and experience in behaviour intervention or applied behaviour analysis
Demonstrated experience in providing learning support to students with complex needs and learning challenges (i.e. FASD, ASD, ADHD, LD, DCD)
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of inclusive educational practices
Ability to demonstrate competent technology skills
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
Ability to perform the required duties within an emotionally and physically demanding workplace
Clear commitment to Christian faith and participation in a local Christian church community
