About the Role

As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems across assigned facilities, ensuring reliable operation of building systems including electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, and HVAC. You will monitor system performance, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, execute weekly fire pump runs and monthly generator tests, and support large meeting-room set-ups. This role operates in a critical medical workplace and requires strong attention to safety, regulatory compliance, and the ability to respond quickly to urgent operational needs.

What You’ll Do

Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.

Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

Comply with all the applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.

Assist with the preventative maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.



Perform emergency repairs as needed.

Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.

Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.

Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.

Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
