Job Title Part time English & Math Teacher/Tutor

About Oxford Learning Kerrisdale is seeking a part‑time teacher‑tutor to work with students from kindergarten through Grade 12. The role is in‑person, pre‑planned lessons, and training in the Oxford Learning philosophy.

Responsibilities

Teach up to three students at a time, using pre‑planned lesson plans.

Deliver instruction both online and in‑person.

Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.

Complete daily student communication updates.

Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or related certification, or university students with tutoring experience.

Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.

Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 12 level.

Strong English written and oral communication skills.





Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

Requirements

Work 2-4 days a week from 3:30 pm‑6:30 pm and/or Saturdays 9:00 am‑12:00 pm; a year‑long commitment preferred.

In‑person position; must commute to 2115 W 38th Ave., Vancouver, BC.

Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.

Relocation packages not available.

Applicants must reside within a short commute of the Kerrisdale area.
