CapWest is seeking a skilled Formwork Estimator to join our agile team in Vancouver. Your focus will be on high-rise projects, ensuring competitive and accurate bid submissions.

In this senior pre-construction role, you will need 5-8 years of experience estimating formwork projects. You’ll work alongside project managers and operations leadership while taking complete ownership of the estimating process. Your role is critical in developing strong partnerships with suppliers and navigating complex bidding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



• Complete quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings • Prepare bid submissions that meet all requirements • Analyze specifications for risks and cost efficiencies • Build relationships with trade partners for project success • Track cost estimates throughout project life cycles

Requirements: • At least 5-8 years in formwork estimating • Experience with high-rise and ICI construction projects • Familiarity with software like OST and ConEst • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills • Relevant degree or certification in construction
