As part of the UTSC Animal Facilities team, you will provide critical technical services and maintain high standards of care for laboratory animals. Key Responsibilities:



• Oversee specialized husbandry for animal health and breeding • Conduct anesthesia and collect samples for analysis • Maintain specialized containment and safety equipment • Teach and instruct others in animal care practices • Develop solutions for breeding challenges

Requirements: • Graduate of a veterinary technology or related program • Preferably one year of laboratory animal experience • Certification as a Registered Laboratory Animal Technician is a plus • Physically fit to handle lifting of up to 50 lbs • Proficiency in English, both written and oral
