About the Role

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the organization’s day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on accounts payable while gaining exposure to a variety of general accounting responsibilities. Working closely with finance, operations, and internal stakeholders, you’ll help ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and efficient accounting processes.

What You’ll Do

Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, reconciliations, and payment preparation

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are recorded promptly and accurately

Respond to vendor and internal inquiries while investigating and resolving discrepancies

Assist with account reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end activities, and routine journal entries

Support financial reporting by preparing schedules and assisting with ongoing accounting processes

Collaborate with finance, operations,



and client-facing teams to ensure efficient workflows

Participate in cross-training initiatives and provide support across the accounting team as needed

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and contribute to operational efficiencies

What You Bring

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

2-3 years of accounting experience;

experience within financial services, professional services, or a not-for-profit workplace is considered an asset

Experience with accounts payable and general accounting processes

Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems

Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, client-focused approach

Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines
