This position, under the Manager of Engineering, involves providing critical engineering expertise for the planning, design, and modernization of electrical substations. You will leverage a minimum of five years of utility-focused experience to influence technical standards and support ongoing asset management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and deploy advancements in substation technology • Conduct essential studies for protection and capacity • Create and oversee engineering standards and specifications • Manage substation projects from inception to close-out • Assist in maintenance and risk assessment programs
Requirements: • Four-year university degree in electrical engineering • Qualified Engineer designation (P.Eng) required • Minimum five years of substation experience • Proficient in utility substation systems and standards • Valid Class G driver's licence for field duties
