Triumvirate Environmental needs a Hazardous Waste Specialist to oversee waste management and compliance on client sites throughout Ontario. This role involves direct engagement with clients to facilitate effective hazardous waste disposal.
As part of the Field Services team, you will ensure adherence to Provincial and Federal waste regulations. Responsibilities include preparing waste materials, secure vehicle operation, and conducting Environmental Health and Safety audits. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work during weekends at various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the transition of waste materials to disposal • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation • Safely handle and transport hazardous materials • Conduct audits and oversee emergency response • Participate in municipal waste events for community service
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience • Strong analytical and communication skills • Ability to collaborate successfully with clients • Availability for overtime and flexible scheduling • Must be capable of lifting and transporting hazardous materials
