Ledcor Highways Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic individuals equipped with a Class 1 or Class 3 license. This role emphasizes the operation of snowplows and heavy machinery, ensuring the safety of the Alaska highways throughout the year. Expect to work in all weather conditions and fulfill physically demanding tasks.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate heavy machinery including snowplows • Conduct maintenance on Alaska Highways • Assist labor duties like pothole repairs • Maintain transparent signage and bridges • Handle outdoor tasks regardless of weather
Requirements: • Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test • Clear driver’s abstract required • Experience in operating heavy equipment preferred • Ability to lift and perform strenuous physical tasks
