About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Housekeeping Manager to lead their housekeeping department in Kimberley . This role is critical in ensuring that the hotel's rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. You will manage a team of housekeeping staff, oversee inventory of cleaning supplies, and implement efficient cleaning procedures to ensure guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance.
- Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and ensure adherence to hotel standards.
- Train, motivate, and manage housekeeping staff, ensuring high levels of performance and teamwork.




- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities, ensuring efficient ordering and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
