Role Description This part-time, on-site Housekeeper role is based in Deroche, BC. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and orderly guest and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Daily tasks include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, managing laundry (washing, drying, folding, and storing linens), and restocking supplies.

The role also involves handling basic guest requests related to cleanliness and comfort, reporting maintenance issues, and following established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.



The Housekeeper will work collaboratively with other staff members to support a welcoming and respectful environment for all residents and visitors.

Qualifications

- Housekeeping and laundry skills, including experience with cleaning routines, handling linens, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Robust communication and customer service skills to interact respectfully and courteously with residents, visitors, and team members.
- Organization skills and attention to detail to manage cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks, and keep storage areas orderly.
- Ability to receive and provide training on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and use of cleaning equipment and products.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work independently and follow established guidelines and policies.
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and using cleaning tools safely.
- Previous experience in housekeeping
