Join Silver Birch Care Holdings as our new HR Advisor and be the trusted first point of contact for people advice across the Group.

This is a fantastic time to join: we've recently completed a full HR systems transformation (Sona, Tribepad and YourHippo are now embedded), and significant business growth means this role is a genuine stepping stone towards a future HR Business Partner career.

What you'll be doing

First point of contact for HR advice - employee relations, policies and process

Guide managers through complex ER cases: disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance, including hearing packs, note-taking and outcome letters

Support performance and capability issues, including performance improvement plans

Champion manager self-service of HR systems, policies and toolkits

Support the annual appraisal cycle - coaching, communications and compliance reporting

Manage monthly sickness reporting alongside the Midlands/Southeast HR Advisor

Own HR system support, reporting and data accuracy

Oversee monthly compliance reporting - registrations, indemnity, DBS and right to work

Support family-friendly processes (maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave)

Contribute to HR projects, policy development and organisational change

What we're looking for

Solid HR generalist experience, ideally with strong employee relations exposure

Confident advising and coaching managers, with excellent communication skills

Great attention to detail and comfortable working under pressure A proactive, can-do approach with a genuine drive for continuous improvement
