Position: Industrial Hygienist / Process Safety Engineer Type: Contract Compensation: $65–$75/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety . Label them as benign, dual-use, or adversarial. Evaluate AI model responses against a defined policy standard.

Judge correctness of handling. Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses. Assess dual-use scenarios. Ensure models refuse dangerous questions while answering legitimate ones.

Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model judgment on misuse potential. Work independently and asynchronously . Maintain flexible hours .

Qualifications Must-Have Certified industrial hygienist with experience in exposure assessment, sampling strategy, and control banding.





Experience in process hazard analysis, including HAZOP , LOPA , and management of change. Expertise in toxic release and dispersion modeling, with knowledge of AEGL/ERPG criteria.

Experience in ventilation, containment, and PPE program design for chemical hazards. Familiarity with regulatory compliance such as PSM , Seveso , COMAH , or OSHA .

Preferred

Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience. Include a sample or link.
