Marketing Coordinator – Customer Engagement

About Oshtugon Oshtugon Computers LP is a First Nations-owned business serving customers, organizations, and communities across Northwestern Ontario. We provide technology, electronics, mobility, furniture, appliances, and other products while also supporting special orders, organizational purchasing, and regional delivery.

Position Summary The Marketing Coordinator – Customer Engagement is responsible for supporting Oshtugon’s marketing, advertising, promotions, and customer engagement activities. This position will help increase awareness of Oshtugon, strengthen customer and community relationships, promote products and services, and support overall sales and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.

Manage and create content for social media platforms.

Create posters, advertisements, promotional materials, and in-store signage.

Promote sales, new products, clearance items, and seasonal promotions.

Coordinate customer appreciation events, contests, draws, and giveaways.

Coordinate customer surveys and gather customer feedback.

Help develop and maintain a customer marketing database.

Promote special-order products and services.

Assist with website and digital marketing content.

Support community, First Nation, business, and organizational outreach.

Assist with trade shows and community events.

Work with management and staff to identify products and inventory requiring promotion.





Track marketing activities and customer engagement.

Develop and bring forward new marketing and promotional ideas.

Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant experience demonstrated skills, creativity, initiative, and potential will also be considered.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of social media and digital marketing.

Creative, organized, and self-motivated.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience with marketing, graphic design, Canva, photography, video, or content creation would be considered an asset.

Retail, sales, or customer engagement experience would be considered an asset.

Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between locations would be considered an asset.
