Embark on an enriching Mechanical Engineering Co-Op journey at L3Harris located in Waterdown, Ontario. This position offers the chance to collaboratively solve engineering challenges and create innovative designs. This co-op program is a 16-month prospect starting in May 2026, providing practical experience alongside skilled Mechanical Engineers.
You'll participate in the generation of SolidWorks drawings, conduct analyses, and support product verification processes, sharpening your engineering acumen in a comprehensive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mechanical design and analysis
- Generate accurate engineering drawings
- Participate in project tasks of moderate complexity
- Collaborate in design reviews as either a presenter or reviewer
- Support product design verification and validation Requirements:
- Experience with CAD tools, SolidWorks preferred
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or advanced Mechanical Engineering program
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
