Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant for casual shifts across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, sample preparation and storage, urinalysis, and ECG testing where required. Travel may be involved to support laboratory operations.

Shifts vary, with start times ranging from early morning to evening, and a May 25, 2026 start date is planned. The position requires Grade 12 and a recognized Laboratory Assistant training program plus
