True North Cannabis Co. & True North Vapes are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals to join our team in a dynamic dual-retail environment.

In this role, you’ll support both cannabis and vape/tobacco operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining strict compliance with Ontario regulations.

What You’ll Do

Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, professional approach

Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cannabis and vape products

Deliver a high level of customer engagement and product education

Upsell and cross-sell to meet individual and store sales goals

Handle customer questions or concerns with professionalism and care

Store Operations & Compliance

Verify age (19+) in accordance with AGCO and provincial regulations

Follow all cannabis and tobacco compliance standards

Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising

Assist with inventory (receiving, stocking, rotating products)

Support store events, audits, and safety procedures

Keyholder Responsibilities (as assigned)

Open and close the store following company procedures

Complete cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting

Lead the sales floor in the absence of management

Ensure team adherence to policies, safety, and compliance

Act as a point of contact for staff and customers during shifts

What We’re Looking For

Must be

19 years of age or older

CannSell Certification

(required before start date)

1+ year of retail or customer service experience (regulated industry preferred)

Experience with POS systems and cash handling

Previous keyholder or leadership experience is an asset





Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain on your feet and actively move throughout the store for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift)

Ability to safely lift, carry, and organize inventory up to 40 lbs

Frequent bending, reaching, and stocking across multiple store zones (sales floor, stockroom, secure storage)

Strong attention to detail for tasks such as ID verification, cash handling, and POS operation

Ability to maintain focus, clear communication, and situational awareness in a fast-paced, regulated retail environment

Store hours may range between

9:00 AM – 11:00 PM , 7 days a week
