What you will be doing: Complete mechanical rounds once per shift Complete water quality testing of the pools once per shift Respond to and rectify guest room requests Perform preventive repairs, retrofits, or other tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer in a safe and efficient manner Carry out duties within the Service Plus Core Standards guidelines and the Policy of Standards Must be available in the event of emergency

Physical Aspect of the Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate or equivalent with 5 years supervisory experience in a hospitality environment. Highly organized, decisive, with ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines and changing priorities

Computer knowledge in energy management and building automation software programs. Motivated by opportunity to improve skills in all building management functions. These include trade skills, all related codes and current or innovative methods of improving efficiency and operation of the building

Demonstrated skills in verbal and written presentations Excellent teamwork skills and high level of initiative

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Hourly Rate Range: $33.27 - $34.27 CAD Gross per hour
