Mad Engine Global is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Domestic Production Coordinator to support our production team in managing end-to-end domestic production processes. This role will play a key part in ensuring timely execution of production orders, maintaining quality standards, and supporting high-volume programs across mass-market retail and licensed apparel. The ideal candidate thrives in a quick-paced environment, has strong follow-up skills, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
Support the day-to-day management of domestic production orders from development through final delivery. Track production timelines to ensure on-time delivery and elevate any delays or risks. Maintain and update WIP (Work in Progress) reports and production trackers.
Coordinate sample flow, approvals (proto, SMS, TOP), and production milestones. Communicate daily with domestic vendors and factories to monitor order status and resolve issues. Assist in managing relationships with local manufacturers to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time performance.
Follow up on purchase orders, production updates, and shipping schedules. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product Development, Technical Design, Sourcing,
and Logistics teams to ensure alignment on production timelines and requirements. Support Sales and Planning teams by providing production updates and delivery visibility. Coordinate with Compliance teams to ensure all production meets company and retailer standards. Data & Reporting
Maintain accurate production data in internal systems (ERP/WIP trackers). Generate reports on production status, delivery timelines, and vendor performance. Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays. Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in production, sourcing, or supply chain coordination (apparel industry preferred).
Experience working with domestic production and local vendors in Canada. Strong understanding of production calendars, garment construction, and manufacturing processes is a plus. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
