*5 years of experience as a producer within VFX and Cinematics

*VFX, Entertainment OR gaming industry

Must Haves

● Must have VFX, feature animation, or Unreal Engine experience.

● Minimum of 5 years experience in a production role in the film or game industry

● Specific knowledge of pre-visualization, animation, or VFX pipelines is a plu

● Ability to remain calm, positive, and confident in an environment that changes rapidl

● Highly organized with excellent production management skills.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with a large team.

● Ability to own a project from inception to delivery.

● Passion for games and creating videos.

Day to Day

● Work with the Lead Cinematic Producers to organize and run reviews, recording notes from those reviews and communicating tasks to artists.

● Help maintain a database of tasks for active projects and ensure that Shotgrid schedules are up to date.



As well as maintain Airtable records attached to Shotgrid projects.

● Work with the Directors, Lead Cinematic Producers, and VFX Supervisors to triage notes from reviews.

● Partner with producers from other disciplines and departments to track down art completion dates, resolve bugs, and coordinate inter-department production efforts.

● Anticipate issues and communicate them rapidly to the Lead Cinematic Producers.

● Communicate information quickly and succinctly to project crew and other departments.

● Ensure that renders are being burned out and delivered to video editors on-time for reviews.

● Encourage and help maintain a positive, upbeat and professional setting.

● Assist lead producers in building and maintaining production schedules and roadmaps to meet tight production deadlines.

● Collaborate with fellow producers and leads on artist allocations/resourcing and vendor needs in accordance with show requirements.

Pay Rate: 50-55/hr CAD
