About the Role

Our client, a leading e-sports platform, is looking for a meticulous and experienced Remote E-sports Tournament Director to oversee the planning and execution of online and occasional offline tournaments. In this fully remote role, you will be the central point of contact for all tournament operations, ensuring fair play, smooth logistics, and an engaging experience for players and viewers. You will manage schedules, communicate with participants, oversee referees and casters, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute e-sports tournaments from inception to completion, managing all logistical aspects.

Develop tournament formats, rulesets, and schedules, ensuring fairness and competitive integrity.

Recruit, train, and manage a team of referees, administrators, and support staff for each event.

Serve as the primary point of contact for players, teams, and sponsors regarding tournament operations.

Monitor live tournament broadcasts, manage technical issues, and ensure a high-quality viewing experience.





Handle conflict resolution and make decisive rulings on rule violations or disputes.

Collaborate with marketing and production teams to promote tournaments and enhance engagement.

Requirements

Proven experience in organizing and directing e-sports tournaments or similar online gaming events.

In-depth knowledge of various e-sports titles, their rules, and competitive scenes.

Strong understanding of tournament management software and online gaming platforms.

Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a remote setting .

Experience in online community management is a plus.
