About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Technical Artist to bridge the gap between art and engineering, working entirely remotely. You will be responsible for optimizing art assets, developing tools and pipelines, and troubleshooting technical art challenges to ensure smooth integration into game engines. This role requires a blend of artistic understanding and technical expertise, enabling you to solve complex problems and empower the art team to create stunning visuals efficiently.

Optimize 3D assets, textures, and shaders for performance and visual fidelity in real-time engines. Develop and maintain art pipelines, tools, and scripts to improve artist workflow efficiency. Collaborate with engineers and artists to solve technical art issues and implement features. Troubleshoot and debug asset integration problems within the game engine.
Research and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance art production. Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Artist or in a related role within the game industry. Proficiency with 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter). Strong understanding of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and their technical art features. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, MEL, or C#. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges. Benefits
