Role Description The Freelance Verifie is a part-time, remote role focused on supporting MSD’s security and counterintelligence efforts through verification and validation tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities may include reviewing and cross-checking documents and records for accuracy, verifying identities and background information through approved channels, and flagging discrepancies or potential risks for further investigation.

The role involves compiling concise reports, maintaining clear documentation, and following established protocols and security guidelines.

Verifie collaborates virtually with MSD staff, adheres to strict confidentiality standards, and manages assigned tasks within agreed timelines while working independently.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical and verification skills, including attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to identify inconsistencies in information.
- Proficiency in research and documentation,



with experience gathering data from reliable sources and preparing clear, structured reports.
- Solid communication abilities, including professional written communication in English and the capacity to convey findings objectively and succinctly.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information, with adherence to security protocols.
- Comfort with work from home tools and digital platforms, including secure communication channels and basic data management systems.
- Prior experience in security, compliance, investigations, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Relevant education or training in security studies, criminology, political science, or a related discipline is an advantage.
