The University of Ottawa Library is recruiting for a temporary Research Librarian who will focus on arts collections, starting January 4th, 2027. In a team-based environment, you will facilitate consultations, develop educational resources and assess user needs. Your adaptability and expertise will help promote the library’s mission and strengthen its services.

Key Responsibilities:



• Support research priorities through user consultations • Design and deliver educational programs across the library • Foster relationships with faculty and students • Address collection gaps and needs effectively • Engage in service assessment and improvements

Requirements: • Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences • At least two years of relevant experience • Bilingual communication in French and English • Specialized knowledge in arts and history • Proven cooperative and project management abilities
