The client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with robust experience in data governance, metadata management, Informatica, and enterprise data platforms. The successful candidate will support the development of an Informatica Governance & Data Marketplace Proof of Concept (POC). The role will involve configuring Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), implementing data catalog and governance capabilities, automating metadata ingestion, establishing stewardship workflows, and integrating governance solutions with enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and implement Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) governance capabilities.
- Build metadata ingestion pipelines and automate metadata harvesting from source systems.
- Configure governance workflows, approvals, and controls within Informatica.
- Implement data governance standards, controls, and best practices.
- Apply principles related to metadata management, data quality, data lineage, and master data management.
- Develop or support metadata integration and automation using enterprise data sources and APIs.
- Work with business analysts and governance stakeholders to document requirements and user stories.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery activities.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in data management, metadata management,



data governance, or related solutions.
- 2+ years of hands-on Informatica experience.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of Informatica Data Catalog, Informatica Data Governance & Catalog, Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), Informatica Data Marketplace and Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality and Data Lineage
- Experience integrating Informatica with cloud and on-premises data sources and strong SQL skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Databricks experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK data governance principles.
- Experience implementing enterprise data catalogs and data marketplaces.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Data Quality tools, Data Observability tools, API integrations and Metadata automation
- Experience with Informatica CDGC, Data Marketplace and EDC.
- Familiarity with data privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Informatica certification(s).
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
