In this essential position at the CORE office, you will engage directly with students, staff, and faculty, conducting comprehensive assessments of cases and coordinating appropriate referrals for resolution.
Your focus will be on maintaining confidentiality, providing transparent guidance, and fostering collaborative relationships across departments to ensure the accessibility of services. You will play a significant role in implementing equity and diversity initiatives at Sheridan. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake process for discrimination and harassment cases
- Provide assessment and triage for complex matters
- Collaborate with relevant departments for effective resolutions
- Document case activities and maintain integrity of records
- Promote EDI initiatives within the Sheridan community Requirements:
- Degree in relevant field or equivalent credentials
- Minimum 3 years experience in intake and case management
- Strong knowledge of human rights legislation
- Skillful in using computer applications for data management
