Responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments, as well as outgoing shipments.

Safe use of forklift to unload and load shipments

Receive incoming packages and perform inspections of goods received.

Sort, distribute and put away incoming shipments

Review orders prior to processing. Note any discrepancies and bring them to the attention of the production manager

Pick and pack parts and materials for shipping





Prepare all necessary documentation for shipments not limited to but including shipping labels, Bills of Lading, customs documents etc.

Review all necessary paperwork to ensure information included with the shipment is accurate to not impede the delivery process or cause uncertainty at the Customer’s receiving location

Work closely with the Production Manager and Purchaser to ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits

Skills the ideal candidate has include:

Ability to operate forklifts, cranes and other material handling equipment

Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization

Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred

High attention to detail with ability to work independently

Knowledge of major couriers – FedEx, Purolator, UPS etc. including how to operate their respective software packages
