St. John Brebeuf School invites applications for the following full-time permanent position starting September 2026:

RESOURCE TEACHER

Primary Duties:

- Identify and assess student learning needs through observation, data review, and collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Administer screening and assessment tools (ex: DIBELS) and use results to support intervention and instructional planning.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and student support plans in accordance with division and provincial guidelines.
- Provide direct instruction and/or intervention for students individually or in small groups, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and executive functioning skills.




- Support student transitions between grades and programs as needed.
- Lead transition planning by setting up class formation meetings and organizing classroom profiles.
- Provide classroom teachers with student support information (classroom profiles, adapted education plans, individualized education plans) prior to the start of the school year.
- Organize EAs deployment and supervision schedules.

Requirements:

- A teaching philosophy in keeping with Catholic education
- A minimum of two professional references submitted with contact information provided

- A CRC and CARC to be submitted before commencement of employment
- A valid Manitoba Permanent Professional Certificate
