Giant Ant is on the hunt for a part-time Studio Manager. You are a self-starting multitasker with great taste and an eye for the details. You can read a room and warm it up. Your friends hit you up for restaurant recos and new spots to check out.

And speaking of checks, checking things off the list happens to be your love language. This role is equal parts admin, wrangler, and host with the very most. If this is you, we’d love for you to join us Monday-Wednesdays at our studio in Strathcona.

Responsibilities

Facilitate a warm and welcoming studio space, with a healthy well stocked kitchen and good tunes.

Manage and facilitate office operations, coordinating with studio assistants, cleaners, security, utilities as needed.

General admin, answering phones, emails, snail mail, booking travel, receipt data entry/organization, supporting with tech gear pickups, client gifting.

Wrangling team for studio-wide meetings and events, responsible for sharing internal event and office communications.





Welcome wagon for newcomers, visitors and guests, studio tours, restaurant/hotel recos, and helping them feel at home.

Foster team culture and celebrations, planning activities, organizing team lunches, sports events, annual retreat and holiday party!

Requirements

Professional experience in a relevant creative or production setting (experience in the hospitality industry is a plus!)

Excellent communication (written and oral) and listening skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent in managing your own work and deadlines

Compensation

$65,000-$85,000 CAD Annual (Prorated for 3 Days/Week) We’re a Vancouver-based team, and the ideal candidate will join us Monday - Wednesdays at our studio in Strathcona — so we can collaborate face to face when it counts.
