Geographic Information

Systems (GIS) Development We’re looking for passionate students to assist with the system development of CSE’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) environment.You will gain real world experience in software development and systems administration to enable GIS analytics on a wide range of intelligence issues. Ottawa, Ontario. All jobs require onsite presence in one of our two accessible facilities. A valid Enhanced Reliability Status (ERS) or an Enhanced Top Secret (ETS) security clearance is a condition of employment that must be met before an offer can be made. You must be registered as a full-time student in a recognized post-secondary program in Canada in a field relevant to the position. Relevant programs includes, but are not limited to, Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, or Engineering. Note:

You must be entering your 3rd or 4th year of study by the start of the work term to apply. Note:

The educational program must be recognized in Canada, and you must be able to provide a transcript from your most recent term. Students graduating prior to, or during, the work term are not eligible to apply. The following technical, behavioural and leadership competencies will be assessed at a later date.

You do not need to include information about them in your application. Knowledge of design and operation of large-scale Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and application development. Cognitive thinking skills

Experience with the following would be an asset: Web and/or software application development Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Products, including Desktop and Enterprise Data Manipulation/ETL IT Automation and Orchestration (such as Docker, Kubernetes, scripting)
